How to configure Outlook 2003 (Windows) to use IMAP with DigiLink's mail servers:
From Outlook:
Tools > E-mail Accounts...
From E-mail Accounts window:
Select the radio button next to Add a new e-mail account
Click the next button to go to the next step
Select the radio button next to IMAP
Click the next button to go to the next step
Your name: [enter your first and last name, e.g. John Doe]
E-mail address: [enter the e-mail address that was provided to you by DigiLink or your network admistrator. e.g. johndoe@isp.net]
User Name : [enter the User Name that was provided to you by DigiLink or your network admistrator. e.g. johndoe]
Password: [enter the password that was provided to you by DigiLink or your network administrator. e.g. password]
If you like, you may check the box next to Remember Password if you don't want to have enter your password each time you run Outlook. Note: this may constitute a security risk if you don't supervise your computer.
Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.digilink.net
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.digilink.net
Do NOT check the box next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
There is no need to click the button that says More Settings...
Click the Next button to go to the next step
Click the Finished button to go to complete the account setup
Outlook should now be properly configured to use IMAP to communicate with DigiLink's mail servers.
